You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the regions most experienced Consultants, covering a varied and diverse caseload. Training is available to allow you to broaden your experience and career development is readily available allowing you to move up to senior positions as and when they arise.

The post-holder should be HCPC radiographer with experience in mammography. This role will provide the individual with the opportunity to build on and extend their clinical expertise in the Imaging department. Experience in symptomatic on-stop breast clinics is advantageous. Mammographers would ideally have experience of assisting with Wire Localisations and Stereotactic Biopsies although not essential as training will be given
Education and training are key elements of the department and therefore role extension and further learning is encouraged. Flexibility and innovation are fundamental to this role and strong communication skills are essential.Who we are looking for
You will be registered with the HCPC and preferably have 2-3 years post graduate experience. The successful candidate should be innovative, highly motivated, with good communication skills, and keen to contribute positively to the expanding service.
